PH 1978.14 - William A. Withington Photograph Collection

This collection contains black and white photographs, negatives, and two maps of the Boston Metropolitan era produced by William A. Withington when preparing for his dissertation, Land Use and Change in a Residential Suburb: Winchester, Massachusetts, 1930-1950. The collection contains many scenes of Winchester, including pictures of schools, businesses, railways, and houses. The photographs provide insight into the natural and built landscapes of Winchester and the surrounding areas during the middle of the twentieth century.

PH 1999.01 - John P. Cleary Photograph Collection

This collection contains images of fire equipment owned by the town of Winchester, from horse drawn to modern-day engines, ladder trucks, rescue trucks and lighting trucks. There are also photographs of fireman, fires in Winchester, a Memorial Day parade and the funeral procession of retired Chief Francis Amico. The latter two were accessioned in 2007. In addition, Fire Chief Nash donated a small collection of photographs belonging to Donald Young, who was once the fire department's photographer. PH 2005.07 - Stanley Locke Photographs

The Stanley Locke photographs consists of prints of Stanley's parents, Willard and Gladys Locke, through the years: at the farm, class pictures from grammar and high school, their wedding day (1923), Willard in uniform, formal pictures for the bank, even in costume for a party.Also images of the extended family - their children, Stanley and Betty, parents (some grandparents), siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition, there are photos of the Locke Farm on Ridge Street in Winchester and of the Trofitter summer place in Onset, Buzzards Bay.
