Admin/Biographical History |
The house, first owned by Frederick W. Wooster, was built about 1893. It was the residence of John and Cleora (Bailey) Cleworth from August 1915 to July 17, 1933. John Cleworth (1845 England - 1917 Winchester) was a reed manufacturer. His widow died in 1933, at which point their son Harold Bailey Cleworth (b. 1883 NH) inherited the house. He sold it about 1935 to Michael and Margaret Hintlian. Harold's son John (b. 1915 Winchester) is shown in two of the photographs. Harold's mother-in-law Eudora Seymour is shown in one of those. |
