Edna M. Hatch, amateur artist, professional school teacher b 4 Jun 1890, Rockland, Maine - 24 Feb 1985, Barnstable, lived in Winchester with her mother, public school teacher until 1950 when left for position at Syracuse University] Franklin Rupert Smith, unknown biography, possibly the Franklin Rupert Smith (1903-1961) who was from Illinois but lived in Watertown in 1930. Mary W. Studley (1869-1958), amateur artist, a Winchester resident since about 1895, assisted her father in publication of "Ballou's Monthly Magazine," and ran a rooming-house. Mary W. Jacobs, portrait artist, active locally in the late 20th century. |
