Description |
138 Cambridge Street, before demolition, was originally the home of Daniel Wyman, who died in 1831. Later it was the home of Walter S. Purington and George W. Purrington (who spelled the name with two "r"s), sons of Joseph and Eliza Purington who lived at 161 Cambridge Street. The building in back (unconnected to the house) was for storage of squash grown on the farm. One year 100 tons (a record) were stored. |
