The Alexis Cutting House, formerly at 84 Washington Street, next to the Public Library, with the 1963 Roll of Honor on the right, in front of Town Hall. The Cutting House also served as the home of the American Legion (1921-1946), school administration, and the Red Cross. It was demolished in 1969. At the time of this photograph it was the home of the Red Cross. |
